Michael is the founding principal and owner of McAuliffe & Co. Architects. He established the Palm Desert based company in 2006. He works with public and private clients and engages in a diverse range of project types. These include commercial, civic, hospitality, religious and private residential works. Creative design is the signature common to his work.
Michael enjoys the process of designing for the built environment. For over two decades, he has collaborated with clients, contractors, consultants and fellow design professionals.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Detroit receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1992 and studied abroad in Italy. He is a Registered Architect in California, Washington and Michigan and is NCARB certified. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves on the City of Palm Desert Architectural Review Commission.
Mark is the design director at McAuliffe & Co. Prior to joining the office, he gained experience at a variety of architectural firms and has been involved in projects ranging in scale from international mixed use to single family residential.
Mark’s academic work has been published and exhibited globally. International exhibitions include the Venice Architecture Biennale in Italy and Art Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Publications include ‘Urban Transformation’, ‘Beyond’, ‘Project International’ and ‘On Ramp’.
He studied architecture at the University of Hawaii and the Southern California Institute of Architecture where he was recognized by the Alumni Association and awarded the SCI A3 scholarship. Mark applies his diverse skill set to each design to generate truly unique solutions.
Linda brings a vast array of experience to the team ranging from Assistant Office Manager of a large Law Firm in Washington D.C., Placement Specialist for Olsten Temporary Services in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Listings Agent for a local Real Estate Office. Linda was a Regional Manager for Kinko’s Copies in Las Vegas, and an active member of the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association, National Association for Female Executives and National Association of Women in Construction. As a Partner with Kinko’s Copies, Linda moved to the Coachella Valley where she opened and operated two stores from 1989 to 1997. During that time, she served as a member of Rotary International and local Chambers of Commerce.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University and a Masters in Management from Nazareth College.
Formally trained in architecture and the digital arts, Milo’s professional experience includes design, technical coordination and project management of residential and civic projects.
Milo’s eclectic interests and ability to visualize ideas and solutions from multiple perspectives has allowed his work to excel. His work includes projects such as the CV Link conceptual master plan to our high end custom residential homes. He believes designing a project is an adventure. Every project is a product of its site, client, and context.
Milo gives back to the community by volunteering in various non-profit organizations. He is currently involved in Leadership Coachella Valley, an organization which is designed to motivate and develop future community leaders. He received his professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from Woodbury University in San Diego, CA.
