Michael McAuliffe, AIA // President & Principal Architect
Michael is the founding principal and owner of McAuliffe & Co. Architects. He established the Palm Desert based company in 2006. He works with public and private clients and engages in a diverse range of project types. These include commercial, civic, hospitality, religious and private residential works. Creative design is the signature common to his work.
Michael enjoys the process of designing for the built environment. For over two decades, he has collaborated with clients, contractors, consultants and fellow design professionals.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Detroit receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1992 and studied abroad in Italy. He is a Registered Architect in California, Washington and Michigan and is NCARB certified. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves on the City of Palm Desert Architectural Review Commission.
Jennifer Guinn // Architectural Associate
Jennifer serves as an architectural member directly assisting the Project Architect. She is responsible for various tasks in project development from planning, to design and documentation. Her architectural work experience provides effective support. Her flexibility to assimilate and execute assignments during design phases is a valuable asset to productivity and team excellence. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Judson University and a Doctorate of Architecture from University of Hawai’i.
Linda McAuliffe // Office Manager
Linda brings a vast array of experience to the team ranging from Assistant Office Manager of a large Law Firm in Washington D.C., Placement Specialist for Olsten Temporary Services in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Listings Agent for a local Real Estate Office. Linda was a Regional Manager for Kinko’s Copies in Las Vegas, and an active member of the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association, National Association for Female Executives and National Association of Women in Construction. As a Partner with Kinko’s Copies, Linda moved to the Coachella Valley where she opened and operated two stores from 1989 to 1997. During that time, she served as a member of Rotary International and local Chambers of Commerce.
Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Michigan State University and a Masters in Management from Nazareth College.
Ramon Alvarado // Production Associate
Ramon brings his years of experience in project development and CAD/BIM production to each project. His involvement extends from early project development and graphic production through construction documentation and construction phase support. With an Associate of Science in Architectural Technology and an Associate of Arts in General Drafting from College of the Desert, Ramon is an integral asset to McAuliffe and Co.
