Silverspur Ranch Residence

Originally built in the 1950’s, The Silver Spur Residence exemplifies desert simplicity. Updated for the needs of the current owners, the design opened up the social areas of the house, while clearly delineating the private spaces on opposite ends. The project remodeled the entirety of the existing structure.

A new stone monolith wall was constructed to provide a backdrop and heat barrier from the refinished fireplace while acting as a privacy barrier and backsplash for the work area of the kitchen. Newly shaped spaces along with refined details create a fluid transition between spaces as well as from indoors to outdoors.
